The Rectory Kitchen and Cellar

On the back of our award winning hotel and restaurant at the Rectory in Crudwell, we are delighted to announce our latest venture, the Rectory Kitchen & Cellar in Cirencester.

We are a traditional delicatessen specialising, wherever possible, in local, sustainable and seasonal food to be prepared at home or eaten in our shop. We also stock a range of carefully selected wines from around the world, and regional ales and cider.

Please pop in for a morning coffee or a light lunch and a glass of wine. Alternatively, if you’re in a rush or simply can't be bothered to cook supper, why not try one of our delicious home-cooked 'ready meals', freshly prepared in the kitchens of the Rectory Hotel.

We are also happy to cater for any events, from a picnic at the races to a romantic dinner for two at home. Please telephone 01285 644 700 for more information.

About Us The Rectory Kitchen and Cellar

All our food and drink, whether on our shelves, to eat in, or to take away has been carefully sourced from nice people who care passionately about what they do. Wherever possible, we source from small local companies, many of whom use time-honoured and traditional production methods.

Some of our suppliers include:

  • Day's Cottage, Brookthorpe - Traditionally pressed cider using only single-variety apples
  • Chesterton Farm, Cirencester - Home smoked bacon from just up the road
  • Shipton Mill, Tetbury - Flour from one of the oldest working mills in the country
  • The Organic Smokehouse, Clunbury - Traditionally slow smoked produce, ranging from salmon to salt

We have tried as hard as we can to stock produce that cannot be found in any of the larger supermarkets. Please let us know if you or any of your friends make lovely things that would be at home on the shelves of the Rectory Kitchen!

It is impossible to ignore the impact that global warming is having on our planet. All of our packaging is recycled and recyclable, we try to keep food miles to a minimum, and we are constantly striving to be as green as we can.
